Have a list of things wanted to replace on my car, called looking to speak with a tech or rep for a quote before committing to a shop. It's a list of 8 items probably $5k+ to fix. It's reasonable to expect a quote over the phone. They don't do quotes over the phone but require to drive there. Why is it necessary to drive there for a quote for basic things, for example, replace main radiator or front axel shafts or wheel bearings or auxiliary belt...I was even told some parts are specific to a my car's vin#. I find it unimpressive that providing a specific make, model, year doesn't give enough info for a rough estimate on replacing wheel bearings without a vin#. It's a joke. I asked if they have worked on my specific car before, and Jason said plenty of times. Then it seems logical to have the price history of basic services for the car for a rough estimate on normal wear and tear items. 1/5 stars based the most basic interaction...getting a price estimate. To be fair, they're probably protecting their prices from competing shops pretending to be customers getting quotes or something, at the expense of potential customer. P.S. The central person taking all the calls has no idea if "Audi" is a make or model. This is from my 2nd attempt at calling them. The first attempt calling and leaving a list of things looking to replace twice (once on the phone, once via text to Jason), only to get no reply the first time. Not impressed.
We take great pride in treating every customer with respect and expect the same courtesy in return. Unfortunately, during our phone interaction, our team was met with unnecessary rudeness. That is never acceptable, and we will not tolerate it. To clarify: Accurate repair estimates require a VIN number or license plate. This is not “a joke”—it is the industry standard because parts and pricing vary by exact vehicle specifications. Without this information, no reputable shop can give you a meaningful or reliable quote. While we are always happy to provide estimates with proper details, we do not give vague numbers over the phone. Doing so would be misleading and unfair to both customers and our technicians. We confidently stand behind our work, offering to beat any dealer or independent shop with a 3-year / 36,000-mile nationwide warranty using factory parts. We are the best fit for people who are willing to work with us as professionals so we can do our job right. If someone feels entitled to make demands while being disrespectful to our staff, then we are simply not the right shop for them. We wish you well in finding a shop that meets your expectations.
